O.M.G.

I did my dishwasher duty this morning (I failed though. There was too much in the dishwasher to fit all of the dinner dishes in as well. Sigh) When the whole thing was fully loaded I put the dish soap in and started it. About a minute later I hear the silverware rattling. I went between happiness at the prospect of getting a new dishwasher and sadness knowing this would take many hours of internet research (nothing is easy at my house)

The rattling didn't stop so I opened the dishwasher to see what was going on (I'm all kinds of mechanical)

I almost peed myself. The rattling sound was made by my CAT who had jumped in at some point. My nicely wet cat jumped over the side and proceeded to lick himself while giving me the death look. I however was laughing too hard to care.

To think I was worried about a coyote getting him this morning (big article in the Denver Post). He's worse off in the home. LOL

I'm such a good pet owner.

Nearly ROFL! That's hesterical. It's a twist on the standard cat in the wash machine.

At least kitty is now nice and clean. You may have to sacrifice a can of tuna to regain at least some semblance of a relationship back.

Ha! I needed that laugh. Now your kitty can get with my mom's kitty and they can compare stories. My little brother tried to flush the kitty down the toilet...But a cat, in a dishwasher. Now that's the stuff memories are made of.

    That's too funny!

My sis once started the dryer with the cat in it. She said the first clue was when she kept hearing "Thump, thump...MEOW!"

OMG! That's so scary yet somehow hilarious. At least you got him out in time.

You know, I keep hearing stuff about coyotes around here as well (northern va). Right. Foxes maybe not coyotes.
Either way, I think my cat could kick it's ass anyways. He's huge.

That is funny. At least that had an amusing conclusion, rather than a tragic one. :(

One person I knew accidentally killed their cat by leaving him in the dryer. It was messed up to say the least.

But the dishwasher story is very funny!

OMG that's so sad, yet I horked water out my nose while I was laughing too. hehehehe

And we have tons of coyote's here. I think I lost my first 4 cats to coyote's.

have to admit I laughed my a** off at this one. I just read a terrible story in the paper about a baby that got into a dishwasher some how (a toddler) and was killed. The door closed and it was set to start automatically. Is so sad. Glad the cat is ok..lol.

I nearly killed a kitten by shoving it in a freezer when I was a toddler.

Back in the day, when freezers were apparently lower to the ground.

As the story goes, I was laughing hysterically as my family members were frantically searching the house for the little mews.

That is some funny stuff. I am a cat lover but I still managed to laugh at that! Poor kitty.
