Swordfish and Beet Fries
When buying fish, make sure it is wild caught and not farmed. This is of major importance for fish. They feed farmed fish the exact things we stay away from. Why ingest it through them? This recipe is from Living Paleo and is simple yet delicious.
Ingredients
2 medium beetroot, sliced into french fry shapes
2 swordfish steaks
Lime juice
Cracked pepper
Olive oil
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius, fan-forced.
Line a baking tray with baking paper, spread beetroot chips evenly on the tray and coat with a few teaspoons of olive oil. Place in oven for 20-30 minutes or until cooked.
When the chips have finished, place swordfish on a tray and poor some lime juice and cracked pepper over the top. Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until cooked.
Serve.
